FAAD (Faculty of Animation, Arts & Design) is providing the option of using Zoom for online learning to its Faculty.
Students will not be required to create a Zoom account to attend classes in a Zoom meeting. You should always use your name as it is registered with Sheridan and your Sheridan email address.
If you choose to create a Zoom account, create it with your Sheridan email address username@sheridancollege.ca. A paid account is NOT required, a Basic Zoom account is more than enough. It is also recommended that you use your Sheridan OneCard picture as your profile picture for your Zoom account.
Instructors hosting Zoom meetings may choose not to accept you into a Zoom meeting, if you are joining with an email address other than your Sheridan email address.
When attending Zoom sessions for courses in your program, it is suggested that you use a Zoom account associated with your Sheridan email address. Please note that you do not require any more than a "basic" Zoom account.
