In the event that we are not able to troubleshoot an issue with your Mac in person, and working with you over the phone is also not solving the problem, there is a tool that we can utilize over the Internet. This involves a method of temporarily putting secure software on your Mac that will allow us to remotely chat and interact with you and your Mac.
A product called “Bomgar” (also known as “Beyond Trust”) is industry standard remote support software and is used by companies such as Apple, Amazon, Google, and Microsoft. This system allows us to remotely view and share control of your computer. It also provides extra capabilities, such as chat, file transfer, and more.
